I was watching “Rated K!” this evening with my mom. They featured the love story of a blind guy and his wife, who had a permanent limp due to polio. At an age where the warranty of gadgets lasts even longer than some marriages, their union is both inspiring and heart-warming.
“Hindi ko masasabing love at first sight kasi hindi ko siya nakita,” he said good-naturedly.
That he sees the good side of life despite being blind made me feel ashamed of the amount of ranting I do on a daily basis. From now on, no one shall burst my happy bubble!
